The first edition of the “Effective in business” conference is behind us!
“Effective in business” is a conference that we organised with our clients in mind – with a view to the need to exchange business experiences and build a competitive advantage using IT tools. On October 10-11, the Holiday Inn hotel in Dąbrowa Górnicza gathered over 100 people from several dozen companies – representatives of the management and directors responsible for implementing business processes. During the conference, we had the opportunity to listen to lectures on the use of systems such as Asprova APS or XPRIMER, and also to talk about how to further increase their efficiency.
An injection of practical knowledge
Gathered guests during the first day of the event were welcomed by Michał Lach – CEO of eq system. At the outset he noted that “the first edition of the conference is just the beginning and it will evolve into a form of regular, substantive meetings that will allow us to jointly improve our competences.” Later in the meeting we had the opportunity to participate in lectures with representatives of companies such as Gatta or Bahlsen and take part in a discussion panel led by Dariusz Kacperczyk – deputy president of eq system.
With the expert’s eye
The substantive part of the conference began Mr. Piotr Kubiak – Logistics Manager from Gatta, who in his lecture talked about “How to discover the company’s potential with the help of APS. Presenting the role of production planning and scheduling, he focused on the benefits that the company achieved thanks to the implemented Asprova APS system.
Mr. Marek Markuc – IT Manager at Bahlsen played the role of the next speaker. In his speech entitled “How to use not only the hands of employees, but also their heads”, he explained how, together with his employees, he is digitising the Bahlsen company. He also strongly emphasised the role of the employee in the company, saying that it is important for the employee to know his goals and to have access to the results of his work before starting work.
During the conference, there were also our own lectures with the participation of Jacek Czeremcha – deputy president of the board of eq system technology and Krzysztof Orlicz – member of the board of eq system technology. The lecture entitled “The premiere of XPRIMER 4.0 – eq system development plans” was devoted to the improvements that we have introduced and will continue to introduce in our solutions. The XPRIMER platform is a modern communication platform that allows you to manage all business processes in a company, which is why we strive every day to make it effective, functional and reliable.
At the end of the substantive part of the conference, Dariusz Kacperczyk – deputy president of the board – discussed together with invited panelists about the concerns that prevent investing in the computerisation of business processes. We ended the first day of the “Effective in Business” conference with a banquet combined with networking and live music.
Efficiency in every respect
On the second day, invited guests had the opportunity to listen to three subsequent lectures. Mr. Łukasz Dubin – Logistics Project Manager at Raben talked about innovation and investment in technological development. The speaker paid special attention to the automation and digitisation of distribution processes – he emphasised the importance of IT tools in everyday work. President of the Board of the company Zasław – Abdelmottaleb Doulan – explained how to become the number 3 company in Poland within 3-5 years using the R theory to the fourth power, i.e. Reliable Digital Data Driven Decisions. In turn, Mr. Michał Dydak – Senior IT Specialist from Kuehne + Nagel, during the lecture “Modern IT with a human face”, raised key issues related to, among others, building a competitive advantage on the market, challenges faced by people in the IT industry and the impact of digitisation on enterprises.
The second day could not take place without a discussion panel – we would not be ourselves if we did not ask questions about our industry. Because as we know – better to ask the way than to go astray! The panel titled “Ability of adaptation, flexibility and agility” was led by our HR manager – Łukasz Zabrowski.
This is just the beginning!
The “Effective in business” conference is behind us, but we already know that it is only the beginning for us. It is the beginning of a joint exchange of experiences, insights and discussions on business, as well as the introduction of innovative improvements. And we are talking here not only about our clients’ companies, but also about ourselves. We want to share our experience with our clients, but also listen to them and thus gain knowledge about how we can help them with our solutions – how to tailor our IT solutions to their business, needs and capabilities. This is a priority for us!
