Profim was among the finalists of the IT Leader competition to select companies marked by their high level of innovativeness. We are extremely glad to hear it as we focus on innovativeness of companies when we implement projects for them. This is the case with our cooperation with Profim. It included streamlining of production management processes (planning, scheduling and records) and the development of the concept and choice of the right tools to increase the efficiency of business analytics.
The implementation of a Business Intelligence-type system, which Qlik Sense is, is a logical consequence of the work that we carried out previously. (…) We decided on the Asprova APS solution. We believe that it is worth investing in the best option. It pays off later. Our system combines sales orders with production orders, which in turn are associated with purchase orders for materials and semi-finished products. (…) That is why we had to implement a Manufacturing Execution System based on the Opera MES technology. The production of a chair or an armchair in our factory involves several dozen operations performed by various industrial robots. The production lines include machines from many manufacturers so the control in each case follows a different protocol.
The BI solution implemented by eq system is an excellent support for the APS and MES systems which we use. It allows us to see a lot more, despite the fact that we have access to exactly the same data. I recommend the BI system if you want to analyse faster and, above all, more effectively, and I recommend eq system if you want to be sure that Qlik Sense will enable you to accurately reflect the business needs of your company. Profim is one of the leaders in seating production. Consumers appreciate them primarily for their individual approach as well as ergonomics and original design of the products. They export as much as 70% of its chairs, and their annual sales is PLN 500 million.
