Pacyga is a leading manufacturer of children’s furniture, that focuses on innovative technological solutions which ensure children’s safety and parents’ satisfaction. It has approximately 15,000 m² of production buildings and employs approx. 300 employees. It is a company that focuses on appropriate production facilities – it has got modern machines, machining centres, an expanded paint shop, modern drying rooms, as well as its own tool shop and internal laboratory. Smooth management of so many “elements” is quite a challenge, especially when the production process forces the manufacturer to conduct regular changeovers resulting from products with different details.

The willingness to develop the offer, and thus to change the production process and to improve it, contributed to the search for the system. We were looking for a solution that would bring us closer to the expansion of our assortment, while not moving us away from on-time delivery. We decided to cooperate with eq system because it not only provides us with the right system, but is also a consulting company that helps to look at the production process differently – ­says Beata Wątroba, Implementation Manager.

At the same time, it stands out from other systems by its ability to quickly respond to threats resulting from delays in the supply of components and raw materials, the ability to capture bottlenecks, as well as reducing the number of changeovers while maintaining on-time execution of orders. It was also a big surprise for us that it is a “self-learning” system and allows to create multidimensional “what if?” analyses – adds Mrs. Beata Wątroba.

During the audit, specialists from eq system made Pacyga representatives aware that production planning is key, one of the most important elements affecting the efficiency and condition of the entire organisation. The changes that the system will “make” are primarily intended to help in conscious set up of a production plan and on-time delivery of orders to customers. The Asprova system will allow you to accurately reflect the nature of the furniture industry and take it into account in particular production processes. After implementation, Pacyga employees will be able to define optimisation criteria and dependencies between such areas as technology, tool availability, employee competencies, resource parameters, relations between tasks, raw materials parameters and maintenance.
